Update Log 2: Deliveries, Improved Clock in/Out & Tweaks

We’re back with another round of exciting updates that are set to redefine how you manage your food business. Our team has been hard at work, and we’re thrilled to share the fruits of our labor with you. Let’s dive right in!

Spotlight Feature: The Unified Deliveries Screen

We understand that managing various types of intakes can be a hassle. That’s why we’ve introduced a Unified Deliveries Screen that allows you to handle all your intake types—Meat, Packaging, Ingredients—in one place. Here’s what you can do:

  • Invoice and Supplier Tracking: Booking a delivery now prompts you to enter the Invoice Number and the supplier details, adding another layer of traceability.
  • Optional Van Temperatures: For those dealing with high-risk foods, you can now record van temperatures.
  • Barcode and Hand Scanner Support: Add items to your delivery using our built-in barcode scanner or a Wireless Hand Scanner. The system will prefill details if the stock item already exists.
  • New Product Setup: If you’re scanning an item for the first time, the system will guide you through setting up a new product.

This feature is brand new, and we’re eager to hear your feedback. To enable this module, reach out to us through the support chat on your platform.

A Closer Look at the Revamped Clock In/Out System

Managing your team’s time just got a whole lot easier. Our Clock In/Out System has been revamped to offer:

  • Easier Management: Quickly view, add, or edit clock events for your users.
  • Manual Clock Events: Manually clock someone in or out, offering more control over time tracking.
  • Deletion Mode: A new bin icon enables deletion mode, allowing you to remove individual clock events with ease.

Recipe and Product Enhancements

  • Nested Recipes: Create complex recipes using components that can also be used in other recipes. For example, a marinade for chicken can be a separate recipe that is also part of a larger recipe for Crispy Salt and Chilli Chicken.
  • Product Creation Options: You can now produce a product without reducing the stock levels of the recipe, offering more flexibility in your production process.

Additional Updates and Fixes

  • Hide Out-of-Stock Items: The Stock Page now hides out-of-stock items by default, making it easier to see what you have on hand.
  • Intake Editing: You can now edit the user who performed the intake, offering more flexibility in managing your records.
  • Bug Fixes: Various bug fixes, including issues with updating suppliers and delivery days, have been addressed.
  • New 404 Page: We thought it was time to retire Sally the Cow as she’d been abducted too many times, and opted for a cleaner 404 page 🙂
