Overview
The ‘Check Form Builder’ is a dedicated section within Forkto where you can:
- Design custom forms tailored to specific checks, such as health and safety or inventory.
- Manage existing check forms, view their revisions, activate or deactivate them, and even create new revisions.
Creating a New Check Form
- Navigate to the ‘Check Form Builder’ section.
- Provide a title and description for the form. This helps in identifying the form’s purpose.
- Add Fields: Choose from various input types – text, dropdowns, checkboxes, and more. Define each field with a label or question and specify if it’s mandatory.
- Ordering: Adjust the sequence of the fields using the arrow buttons to ensure logical flow.
- Save: Once satisfied, click ‘Save’. Your new form is now ready for use.
Managing Check Forms
All your check forms are displayed, grouped by their reference, making it easy to locate and manage them:
- View Details: Click on a form to view its details, including its fields and other properties.
- Activate/Deactivate: Easily switch a form’s active status with a simple click. Deactivated forms won’t be available for use until reactivated.
- Create New Revision: Over time, your requirements might change. Instead of altering the original form, create a new revision. This keeps the history intact and allows for tracking changes over time.
Activating and Deactivating Check Forms
- Navigate to the ‘Check Form Builder’ section.
- Locate the form you wish to toggle the activation status for.
- Click on the ‘Toggle Active’ button. This action will change the form’s status, ensuring you have control over which forms are accessible.
Creating a New Revision
- Navigate to the ‘Check Form Builder’ section.
- Find the form you want to revise.
- Select ‘Create Revision’. This opens the form with its current details.
- Make Changes: Edit the form as required.
- Save: Click ‘Save’ to store the new revision, keeping the original version untouched.
