Settings & Business Profile
Manage your business details, preferences, billing, and account settings in Forkto.
The Settings page is your central hub for managing everything about your Forkto account — from business details and preferences to billing, team access, and data exports. You’ll find it by clicking Settings in the app.
Navigating Settings
Settings is organised into four groups:
- Account & Subscription — Business Details, Preferences, Billing
- Organisation — Users, Locations, Departments, Suppliers, Customers
- Access Control — Auditor Access, Supplier Access (covered in the User Management guide)
- Support & Data — Support Pin, Data Export, Legal & Privacy
Click any card to open that section. Use the back button to return to the Settings menu.
Business Details
This is where you view and update your company information.
What’s shown:
- Personal Details — your name, direct phone number, and direct email.
- Business Information — business name, phone, email, address, and website.
- Compliance Information — EC number and VAT number (if applicable).
- Member Since — the date your account was created.
To edit your details:
- Click ‘Edit Details’ (admin only).
- Update any of the fields.
- Click ‘Save’ to apply your changes, or ‘Cancel’ to discard.
Preferences
Preferences let you configure how Forkto works for your business.
Currency
Select your currency from the dropdown. This affects how monetary values are displayed across the app.
Email Reports
Toggle ‘Enable end of day email report’ to receive a daily summary email sent to your business email address.
- By default, reports are sent at 8:00 PM.
- Toggle ‘Customise send time’ to choose a different hour (between 3 PM and 11 PM).
Intake Configuration
If your account includes intake features (Meat, Ingredients, or Packaging), you can configure custom pass/fail questions that appear during the intake process.
Billing & Subscription
The Billing section shows your subscription status and payment details.
What’s displayed:
- Subscription status — whether your plan is active or set to cancel.
- Amount and billing interval — what you pay and how often.
- Next billing date — when your next payment is due.
- Payment method — the card on file (brand and last 4 digits).
- Recent invoices — your most recent invoices with status and links.
If no payment method is on file, you’ll see a warning with an ‘Add Payment Method’ button.
Click ‘Manage’ to open the billing portal where you can update your payment method, view all invoices, or manage your subscription.
Support Pin
The Support Pin is a rotating 6-digit code that refreshes every 60 seconds. Use it to verify your identity when contacting Forkto support.
Simply open this section and read the pin to the support agent when asked.
Data Export
Export a complete backup of all your business data as a ZIP file.
What’s included:
- Audits and compliance records
- Users and access control data
- Locations and departments
- Temperature logs
- Food records
- HACCP plans
- Deliveries and intake records
- Stock and inventory data
- Products and recipes
- Issues and complaints
- Photos, documents, and files
To export:
- Click ‘Export All Data’.
- Wait for the download to complete — this may take a moment depending on the size of your data.
- The ZIP file will be saved to your device.
Note: Sensitive authentication data (passwords, PINs, tokens) is automatically removed from the export for security.

Each link opens the relevant page on the Forkto website.
Changing Your Password
Password changes are managed from your personal profile, not from Settings:
- Click your profile or navigate to your Profile page.
- Go to the Security tab.
- Enter your current password, then your new password and confirmation.
- Click ‘Change Password’ to save.
Auditor Access
Auditors can only view Business Details, the Support Pin, and Legal & Privacy from Settings. All other sections are hidden from the auditor role.
Keep your business details, payment method, and preferences up to date to get the most out of Forkto. Use the Data Export feature periodically to maintain a backup of your records.
