Recipes that do more than list ingredients

A recipe in Forkto is the blueprint for everything you make. Each one is built from the stock items you already track, so producing it deducts the right ingredients and keeps full traceability — part of your wider food safety management system.

Built from your stock

Add each ingredient from your stock items with a quantity, and the total Recipe Weight is calculated for you as you go. Set a Quantity in Pack for how many units each run produces.

Labels set once

Attach an EAN-13 barcode, storage information and a default HTML or PDF label template to each recipe. Set expiry in days from production and use-by dates are applied automatically every time you produce.

Sub-recipes that feed stock

Set a recipe to produce both a finished product and in-house stock. Sauce bases and starters become stock ingredients other recipes can use — so your prep chain is one connected system.
