Complaints
Log supplier complaints against meat intakes, document issues with evidence, and share findings directly with the supplier.
Complaints is where you formally record quality problems found in supplier deliveries. You link a complaint to a specific meat intake, document each issue with weight and photographs, and can send the findings directly to the supplier by email. Find the list under Business → Complaints in the sidebar.
Log a new complaint
- Select Create Complaint in the top-right corner.
- Choose the Related Meat Intake from the dropdown — the most recent intakes appear first.
- Review the selected intake details (product, supplier, invoice ID, weight, dates, temperature).
- Select Create Complaint. You are taken directly to the edit view to document the issues.
Document issues
On the Edit Complaint page, select Add Issue to open the issue form:
- Issue Type — choose from the list (e.g. Excessive fat, Discoloration, Bone fragments, Temperature abuse, Packaging damage).
- Disputed Weight — enter the weight affected and select the unit (grams, kilograms, or tonnes).
- Photos — select Add Photo to attach images; add a comment to each photo if needed.
- Notes — any additional observations.
Select Save Issue to add it to the complaint. Repeat for each distinct problem. Changes save automatically.
The Weight Breakdown section below the issue list shows a table and chart comparing each issue type’s disputed weight against the total intake weight.
Set the Status before saving:

| Critical | Requires urgent attention |
Select Save Changes to finish.
View a complaint
Open any complaint from the list to see the full detail: intake information, all issues with photos and weight breakdown, and the current status.
Send to a supplier
From the complaint detail view, select Send to Supplier. Forkto sends the supplier’s contact email an access link so they can view the complaint and its photos. The supplier’s contact email must be set in Settings → Suppliers before sharing.
Complaints list
The list shows all complaints for your account. Use the search field to filter.
