Production
Run multi-recipe production batches, allocate ingredient intakes, deduct stock, and print labels and batch sheets.
The Production page lets you plan and commit a full production run covering several recipes at once. It deducts stock from your ingredient intakes, creates traceable product records, and generates labels and batch sheets in one go. Find it under Production in the sidebar.
Select a location in the sidebar before you build a plan — recipes are filtered to those assigned to your chosen location.
Build your plan
- Under Recipes, click Add recipe to add a row.
- For each row, pick a recipe from the dropdown and set a quantity.
- You can add the same recipe more than once — for example, if two operators are running the same recipe with different expiry dates or intake batches.
- The allocation panel on the right shows stock availability for every ingredient across all selected recipes. A shortfall warning appears if you don’t have enough stock.
Plans are saved automatically as a draft for up to 24 hours. If you leave the page and return, you’ll be offered the option to Restore or Discard the draft.
Allocate intakes (optional)
By default, intakes are picked automatically. To override this for a specific ingredient, use the allocation controls to choose a particular batch. For variable-weight recipes, you must enter the actual weight for each individual unit before you can submit.
Submit the run
- Optionally add Run notes (e.g. machine settings, order changes).
- To record production without changing stock levels, enable Don’t deduct stock from intakes (for trial runs or off-system batches).
- Click Produce (the button also shows how many products will be created). Stock is deducted and all product records are created in one step.
Print labels and batch sheets
After a successful run, the results screen shows each recipe group with a count of products created. You can:
- Click Print [n] next to a recipe group to print labels for just that group.
- Click Print all labels to merge all labels into a single PDF and open the print dialogue once.
- Click Print batch sheets to print the full batch documentation for the run.
- Click Start new run to reset the plan and begin again.
