Production & Stock Updated 30 May 2026

Stock

View live balances for all stock items and manage product details, barcodes, and out-of-stock status.

Stock shows the master list of every product in your stock register alongside its current balance, which updates automatically whenever an intake is booked or production consumes a batch. Find it at Production → Intakes → Stock. Available if the Stock module is on for your account.

Reading the stock list

Each stock card shows the product’s internal name, display name, current balance (weight for meat and ingredients; unit count for packaging and products), and any barcodes. A card marked Out of stock has no remaining quantity.

Use the search bar to filter by internal name, display name, product details, or barcode. Use the type filter buttons (All / Meat / Ingredients / Packaging / Delivery / Products) to narrow the list to a specific category.

The overflow menu on the list page lets you Show archived and Show out of stock items (both hidden by default).

Attention banner

If any stock items are missing a display name and product details, a yellow banner appears at the top of the page. Click Show Only to filter to those items so you can update them.

Viewing bookings for a stock item

On any stock card, open the menu and choose Show Bookings. A panel opens listing every in-stock intake booking for that item, with columns for Date, Supplier, Best By, and Qty / Weight. From here you can:

  • Click View to go to the individual intake record.
  • Click Out of Stock to mark that booking as consumed.

Editing a stock item

Open the menu on a card and choose Edit. The Edit Stock Item form lets you update the internal name, display name, product details, barcodes, Halal flag, and similar product-level settings.

Managing stock status

Each card’s menu also provides:

  • Mark ‘out of stock’ — flags the item as exhausted without deleting it.
  • Mark ‘recalled’ — flags the item as subject to a recall.
  • Mark ‘archived’ — hides the item from the default view.
  • Delete — permanently removes the stock item (cannot be undone).
